My mum has a thing for musical boxes. Recently I've bought her another one which also doubles up as a snowglobe. She really loves this one and went to buy an exactly identical one today. I asked why she didn't choose one of the other designs but she said in earnest that she wanted an exact backup. omg. My endearingly whimsical mum. :)

This reminded me of my ex-boss who's german. My colleague followed my ex-boss on a business trip to Germany and was struck speechless on seeing that my ex-boss had the exact colour and model of car in Germany as he did in Singapore. It's like he never left the country.
