Baking analogy at work today. The sales guy had a mock-serious discussion with me on my hair. Unbelievably, he has this idea that like the TV show Felicity, cutting hair so short leads to a drop in TV ratings, and in our case, cake sales. His previous grouse was I looked too young to sell the kind of cake we sell. Now, I look more a creative media sort and it's even harder for him to sell me while I sell cakes.
How is it that when I have long hair no one gives a hoot, and now there's so much focus on so little hair?
