Lots of bad luck this week. A colleague got into a car accident (luckily he escaped unscathed), another colleague was sick, an acquaintance had an accident, and I went to the clinic to remove the remaining splinter from the same big toe again. Urgh. The doctor injected my toe with anaesthetic this time round to clean out the splinter properly. I know it's nothing compared to pain from body piercing but still.. Anyway, the doctor gave me medical leave today so I don't put pressure on my toe, which incidentally, has a huge bandage. This sounds so bloody ridiculous. Maybe I should go bathe myself with flowers or something to cleanse away the bad luck. Hiaks.
