Just watched an Akiro Kurosawa movie Ran on VCD. Suffice to say it's language overload. There were chinese and english subtitles, and dual sounds in japanese and french. Couldn't control the dual sounds while watching it on my computer and I ended up listening to both the japanese and french versions simultaneously, both of which I couldn't understand. And it was a long movie to boot too. To summarize: think of King Lear as Japanese feudal lord and all his daughters have become sons.
