I set the irc channel topic before I went to sleep last night, and this morning when I woke up to log in, it has remained unchanged. It has survived nearly 8 hours, a record for me. I had a whimsical thought that Ted Hughes should be proud of himself if only he knew. The topic was his line God help the wolf after whom the dogs do not bark.
