The crystal bracelet my jc girlfriend gave me has a magnetic clasp instead of a hook one, so all I have to do is just hold the ends close enough for the magnetic clasp to click into place. Very convenient. The side-effect is it has also raised my awareness for metallic objects in my near vicinity cos the bracelet clasp keeps attracting them... scissors, metal bits on my office laptop, stair banisters... I will be caught unaware by a small tug on my wrist. Maybe I need a magnetic clasp to slow me down to appreciate what I already have.
