Ok, don't read this entry if you're squeamish. I've got a splinter stuck in my right big toe since last week. The splinter gives a little pain and has a slight bump on my toe where a speck of it can be seen. However, it's lodged too deep for me to extract on my own, and I am procrastinating against going to the doctor for the extraction. I'm afraid of PAIN and I don't want the doctor to cut up a huge slice of my toe to reach the splinter. Urgh. Poked my toe with a safety pin trying to reach the splinter to no avail. :(
