I received an email today from an online bookstore with the following message:

"In this time of terrible tragedy and loss, we know that many will turn to books for answers. [We] respectfully offer a series of title listings for our customers who may be dealing with grief and loss, as well as those readers who seek a greater understanding of global, political, historical, and social forces in the midst of the current catastrophic events."

Is it just me or does this seem in bad taste?
