I just bought a mini set of boules from the mobile bookfair. Boules is the french version of the English lawn bowling, a game which I've tried once before. The aim is to have a target weighted ball a fair distance away, and to pitch a heavy ball along the ground so as to arrive as close as possible to the target. It's supposed to be one of the fairest games ever invented without biase to sex, race or age.
