Last week, I asked Electrin why he started posting an online journal. He surprised me by telling me he did it over a weekend where he was badly ill and alone in the dorm. He was so weak he could hardly summon up the strength to get over to the computer and work on it, but he did. He just wanted a record to exist, in case something happened to him.
