Just got home from playing pool with limabean, one of my old music cohorts. He drove me home and on the way, we rolled down the car windows, blasted the music from American band Old 97's album Satellite Rides and just cruised along. The last time we did this, we were sort of intoxicated (ok, I was high) and singing lustily to Matthew Sweet out the car windows. It's a nice feeling to feel the wind in my hair and be introduced to new wonderful music. The lyrics and tunes were pretty predictable so I could sing a bit of the chorus to the songs. We hardly talked but the music did and it felt so right.
Music made it all worthwhile, took the moment and turned it round.
